i like how you can customize your caracter. i also like the graphics and the sound. it is a little repetitive, but still a good side scroller. nice variety of weapons though and very easy to switch between them.

there is too much luck involved to be enjoyable. you should be able to either rotate the pieces or discard them. not very original.

the graphics were great, the music was enjoyable, and the story line seems like it will be good. in short, this flash did everything a trailer SHOULD do. it made me want to see the whole thing.

graphcs are good. the clouds were a MAJOR pain in battle. i can understand the enemies using clouds as cover, but i couldn't see MY OWN SHIP. you might want to rework the clouds so the player could see their own ship thru them. if the chain shot has ANY effect on the enemy, i didn't notice. you might want to add a fourth or fith country and you DEFINITLY should increase the map size. also more ships at sea would be nice.the option to abandon ship (with appropriate penalties) is a nice touch. i feel you should be able to upgrade your reload speed and/or get more types of crew. you might want to also add the ability to have allies in battle.

i have seen several versions of this game. some good, some bad. yours is semi-bad. your mouse control continually gets stuck and it is very hard to aim. however, i am giving you 2 stars due to ok graphics. music was highly repetitive.
